Bio

Raised in Southern California, Lindsey Marshall (also known as Peggy Night) began painting while attending University of California, San Diego where she studied Cognitive Behavioral Neuroscience and Neurobiology. It was the topics of color psychology and opponent-process theory that peaked her interest in the style of painting she has adopted. Her goal in making art is to provide something to the viewer that will facilitate perceptual organization of the elements in view into a specific sensory experience. In carefully curating every color, all contributed wavelengths are available for the observer to perceive and enjoy.
